  We loved our time at Epiphyte B & B. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly, and made our experience memorable. The breakfast was delicious, unique, and plentiful. Our cabin was a delight, and very clean. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of nature at its best.

  My husband and I loved staying here. We would recommend arriving before 6pm. There is a definite community feel to this B&B, but Matt (the owner and host) was an invaluable resource to helping us find the best (and secluded) spots. Would recommend 100%!

  I spent five weeks with Matt in the Epiphyte and had the most amazing time there. The house itself is the perfect place to relax, with views of the tropical garden and Thornton Peak in the background. Matt takes great care of his guests, providing them with fresh fruits from the local markets and his own garden in the morning and always making sure they know all there is to know about the area! In the evenings, often the guests will get together to exchange experiences and have a good time.

  When leaving after five weeks, I still did not have the feeling that I had seen it all. The beauty of this rainforest isn't something that I can compare to anything else. I have seen at least a dozen cassowary just in the garden, a tree kangaroo and a forest dragon on one of the boardwalks. Only five minutes away from the B&B is Cow Bay beach, where the forest comes right down to the sand and often you will have the whole place to yourself.

  Fantastic experience here with my wife for 2 nights, loved every minute didn't want to leave! Such a tranquil and quiet shared B&B, the owner Matt is great he know's everything about the area and super helpful in giving tips and places to go around the Daintree. If your looking for a relaxing but memorable experience of Far North Queensland I couldn't recommend this place higher!
